How many are found in the swamp, approximately? Same with the Talarurus is the one in the picture the only one?ģ. Based off the description, apparently there are more than just the pair of Deinocheirus in the paludem. When you say that this exhibit is right next to the Beaky swamp, do you mean its connected, or just around the same location?Ģ. Ĭouple of questions, if you don't mind (sorry that I have so many. One little detail I think is really great are the casted shadows in the water I dunno, they're just really cool to look at, and it shows how much care you put into these piece. Now THIS is a great habitat! Deinocheirus is such a cool animal, huh? And both the Talarurus and Inkrandrago are nicely drawn here too the colors for the pterosaurs was definitely a good choice on your part. When they reach adulthood they will go their separate ways and look for a mate. Younger individuals can be found in larger groups who stay together for protection after they are rejected by their parents after about a year or a little more. The deinocheirus are mostly found in pairs because they pair for live.

The talarurus are Mostly solitary and are a rare sight from the viewing points because they aren't really fond of humans. They also use their furry hair in their nests much like modern birds did with woolly rhino's and mammoths. The ikrandrago usually stay close to the deinocheirus probably for protection from the bigger roaming pterosaurs. This exhibit is actually right next to the previous one, the Beaky Swamp. Unlike the Beaky swamp this part has a lot of mushy grass land instead of sand. Next to these prehistoric animals there are also a lot of modern day animals like iguanas, crocodiles and the cormorant. Next to this awsome creature the exhibit also contains talarurus a ankylosaurid from the same fossil pit in Mongolia and the asian pterosaur ikrandrago. Yes indeed it's a reverence to the star of the exhibit the deinocheirus. Now to the important part, this is my newest piece in the Lost Shore project the Deino Paludem or terrible swamp. I do promise to make a sufficient amount of pictures to show when I get back Tomorrow I'll go to London for a week and shortly after that I'll be on a boat trip in the British Virgin Islands for another three weeks. First of I would like to announce that in the coming five weeks I won't be able to upload anything new.
